Mahi has a sweet and mild taste with a fairly firm texture. It has a pinkish to a grayish white color. Channel Seafoods International offers frozen, skinless/boneless portions and fillets in excellent condition. Our mahi products are individually vacuumed packed (IVP) and individually quick frozen (IQF). The seasonality is year-round. It is wild caught, using the hook line method. There are a variety of cooking methods for mahi: baking, broiling, frying, grilling, or sautéing.
Serving Suggestions:
Mahi can be served with rice, mash potatoes, steamed vegetables, or beans.
Defrosting:
Defrost before cooking. To defrost product, keep in refrigerator overnight, or place under cold running water.
