Channel Seafoods International is thrilled to announce our recent collaboration with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in the Vietnam Tuna FIP (Fishery Improvement Project), marking a significant milestone in our journey towards sustainable seafood sourcing.

The Vietnam Tuna FIP is a pioneering initiative aimed at enhancing the sustainability of tuna fisheries in Vietnam. By bringing together stakeholders from various sectors, including government agencies, fishing communities, NGOs, and industry partners, the FIP seeks to address pressing challenges such as overfishing, bycatch, and habitat degradation.

Through our participation in the FIP, we are actively engaged in implementing measures to promote sustainable tuna fishing practices. This includes adopting responsible fishing methods, improving resource management strategies, and enhancing traceability throughout the supply chain.

By supporting the Vietnam Tuna FIP, we are not only safeguarding the health of tuna populations but also contributing to the economic well-being of local fishing communities. We believe that sustainable fisheries management is essential for ensuring the livelihoods of those who depend on the ocean for their sustenance and income.
